The Communications Bureau coordinates all communications between citizens and other agencies who call for requests for service and dispatching deputies to respond to the complaint. The Communications Bureau is a “state-of-the-art” facility located in the Headquarters Building. This facility contains computer aided dispatch terminals. Dispatchers receive calls from 911 operators almost instantaneously, which decreases errors and time required to respond to calls.
